Aku mendapatkan produk ini dari CHARIS, yaitu salah satu e-commerce Korea dimana produk-produknya bisa dikirim ke Indonesia. Aku mendapatkan 2 warna dari total 5 warna yang A CONCEPT Cheek Me punya, yaitu warna 01 Marry Me dan 02 Hug Me. Katanya, makeup Korea warnanya nggak bakal kelihatan di kulit kekuningan, terutama orang Indonesia. Bener ga sih? Oke ga usah lama-lama, langsung aja ke review produk dan swatchesnya.

It is a Korean e-commerce that sells beauty product and ship all over the world, including to Indonesia. I get 2 colors, it is shade 01 Marry Me and 02 Hug Me. People say that Korean makeup colors will not be seen in the yellowish skin, especially Indonesians. Is it true? Okay, let's move on to the product reviews and see how it performs.

Kaget lihat deskripsinya? Iyap, tulisannya rata-rata pakai Hangul (abjad Korea). Untungnya keterangan informasi produk dan cara pemakaian ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Nggak buta banget gitu deh kalau baca kemasan kotaknya. Expirednya juga ditulis pakai abjad. Nggak usah takut keliru lagi antara tulisan expired dan tanggal pembuatan layaknya kalau ditulis pakai Hangul.
Are you shocked by the description? Yeah, most of the description is written Hangul (Korean letter). Fortunately, there is some information in English. The expired date is also written in the alphabet letter, not in Hangul. So, you won't misunderstand between guessing expiration date or creation date.
Pertama kali lihat kemasannya, pasti pada mikir kalau ini kutek. Tapi, di belakangnya ada tulisan "It is not a nail polish, only for your cheek". Desainnya lucu sih. Daripada bawa embel-embel "blusher" yang sudah terlalu mainstream, pakai slogan untuk mendeskripsikan barang jenius juga. Temen-temen di Instagramku @gadzotica rata-rata tertipu sama kemasannya. Bahkan ada yang ngira ini bisa buat pipi dan kuku. No no, ini blusher aja kok temen-temen. Bukan produk multi-fungsi.
Bahannya botolnya terbuat dari kaca, sedangkan tutupnya terbuat dari plastik. Blusher ini cukup berat untuk dibawa di makeup pouch. Rasanya bahan kaca yang digunakan cukup tahan banting. Paling cuma cuil kalau kena benturan keras, nggak sampai berkeping-keping. Mungkin loh ya. Ada baiknya kalau dari awal sudah dijaga benar-benar biar ga pecah. Oh ya, tutup plastiknya kalau diputar maksimal ga pas dalam posisi horisontal. Walaupun terasa kurang seret nutupnya, tapi dia ga bleber kok.

Some even think that it is a multi-function product as nail polish and blusher. No no, this is just a blusher anyway.
The bottle is made of glass, while the lid is made of plastic. This product is quite heavy to be taken into a makeup pouch. Somehow the glass material feels quite resistant to break, but I think it's better to keep this product well. Oh, the plastic lid seems loose. However, the products inside will not leak.
Kemasan produk Korea selalu datang dengan stiker informasi warna yang Ditulis dengan Hangul menurut sepengamatanku. Untung tulisan shade dan expired date-nya pakai huruf abjad.

Kan, dibilangin juga apa. Kemasannya mirip banget sama kutek LOL. Tapi ukurannya blusher ini 10 ml, beda dengan standar ukuran nail polish sebanyak kira-kira 7 ml. Jadi kemasannya terlihat lebih besar dibandingkan kemasan nail polish pada umumnya. Udahlah, dibilangin ini bukan kutek juga hahaha.
I told you before, the packaging is very similar to nail polish right?. But the size of this blush is 10 ml, while the nail polish has 7 ml. So the packaging looks bigger than the nail polish in general. Moreover, this is not a nail polish hahaha.
TEXTURE / SCENT
Teksturnya liquid, mengingatkanku sama tekstur nail polish Holika-Holika yang pernah kureview disini. Sedikit terlihat oily, paling ketara kalau bagian warna dan minyaknya terpisah. Pakai blusher ini harus dikocok dulu. Anyway, aromanya mawar dan cukup kuat. Tapi setelah dibaurkan aromanya agak berkurang dan jadi lebih soft.
This product has a liquid texture. It reminds me of the texture of Holika-Holika nail polish that I have reviewed here. Sometimes the colors and the oil are looks separated. It should be shaken first before use. This product also has a strong rose scent. The aroma will decrease when the blush is applied.
COLOR SWATCHES
A Concept Cheek Me punya 4 varian warna, dan yang aku coba adalah warna "Hug Me" dan "Marry Me". "Hug Me" warnanya orange, sedangkan "Marry Me" warna pink. Warna yang dihasilkan cenderung tipis. Butuh beberapa layer untuk mendapatkan warna yang intens. Untuk mendapatkan pigmentasi seperti foto diatas, aku mengaplikasikan "Hug Me" sebanyak 5-7 layer sedangkan "Marry Me" sebanyak 2-3 layer saja. Kenapa "Hug Me" lebih butuh banyak layer? Mungkin karena kulitku kekuningan, jadi warna orange-nya susah kelihatan. Sebanyak apapun layernya, hasilnya tetap natural. Finishnya glowy, kalau mau hasil lebih matte tinggal ditambahkan bedak diatasnya. Karena dia sifatnya tint, warnanya bertahan lebih lama daripada blusher powder.
A Concept Cheek Me has 4 colors. I try is the shade "Hug Me" and "Marry Me". The color of Hug Me is orange, while Marry Me is pink. The pigmentation is very thin. It needs multiple layers to get an intense color. To get the pigmentation like the photo above, I apply "Hug Me" about 5-7 layers, and "Marry Me" only takes 2-3 layers. Why does Hug Me need more layers? Maybe because the orange color is hard to see in my yellowish skin tone. Although many layers are applied, the result is still natural. This blusher has a glowy finish. So if you want to get a matte result, just add powder on it. It performs like a tint so the color will last longer.
USER EXPERIENCE
Sebenarnya agak tricky dalam menggunakan A CONCEPT Cheek Me ini, terutama di atas base makeup. Kalau dipakai diatas foundation seperti halnya cream blush, produk ini susah untuk dibaurkan. Karena dia oil base, foundation dibawahnya bisa hancur kalau pengaplikasiannya salah. Cara teraman menggunakan produk ini adalah campur blusher dan foundation dengan perbandingan 2:1 atau 3:1 (blusher lebih banyak karena warnanya cenderung tipis). Setelah tercampur, tap-tap menggunakan jari atau sponge ke pipi. Menggunakan cara ini pun harus hati-hati agar foundationnya ga patchy. Foundation yang digunakan juga lebih baik yang dewy atau satin karena bisa bercampur lebih baik dengan blusher. Aku menemukan bahwa pengaplikasian yang paling baik adalah dalam kondisi bare face. Jadi blusher ini lebih mudah dibaurkan, menyatu dengan kulit dan otomatis terlihat seperti semu alami pipi.
Actually, it's a bit tricky using A CONCEPT Cheek Me, especially on top of base makeup. If used after base makeup, this blusher is difficult to blend. It has an oil base, so the foundation below can be destroyed if the application is wrong. The safest way to use this product is to mix the blusher and foundation with a ratio of 2: 1 or 3: 1 (more blusher because the color tends to thin). Once mixed, tap-tap using a finger or sponge into the cheek. You should be careful using this method as well to get the best result. Using dewy or satin foundation will be better. I found that the best application of this product is worn on the bare face. It's easier to blend and look more natural.
