Tutorial - The Black Hole Queen Makeup

Hello hello, everyone! Welcome to my blog. This time, I want to share you about a makeup tutorial which is new for me. I made a fantasy makeup inspired by Intergalactic. I called this makeup look as "The Black Hole Queen". Instead of alien, I chose a black hole as my inspiration. The black hole is a component of galaxy that has a powerful existence. Oh come on, I'm afraid of black hole arrival than alien invasion. Lol.

The black hole has a philosophy that I can "absorb" many interesting and positive things from makeup. So, don't judge people who love makeup wrongly. The essence of makeup is art <3

FOTD - Cleopatra Makeup (Woman Empowerment Makeup Collab)

Hai Beauties, memperingati hari Kartini yang jatuh pada tanggal 21 April, aku berkolaborasi dengan temen-temen Beautiesquad untuk membuat Woman Empowerment Makeup Challenge. Hari Kartini hakikatnya ga terbatas untuk Ibu Kartini aja, namun hari dimana kaum wanita sangat dikagumi dan dihargai kerja kerasnya. Baik tokoh-tokoh wanita di dunia, maupun kita para wanita biasa (ciyeehh). 

Untuk makeup collab kali ini, aku memilih tokoh Cleopatra. Cleopatra merupakan penguasa Mesir yang berhasil mengatasi kudeta dan bisa bersekutu dengan 2 orang terkuat pada masanya (Julius Caesar dan Markus Antonius). Walaupun Cleopatra mempunyai kisah kelam di hidupnya, tapi dia adalah salah satu sosok "wanita kuat" yang dikagumi di dunia hingga sekarang. Well, this is what I called The Woman Empowerment. 

Makeup Cleopatra sebenarnya susah-susah gampang, karena aku harus memasukkan warna-warna identik Mesir dan gaya eye makeupnya yang khas dengan sedikit modifikasi. Walaupun eye makeupnya agak belepotan dan ga simetris (karena lidku ukurannya juga ga simetris hiks), I hope you like it ya! Semoga tangan ini makin terlatih buat eye makeup yang simetris kedepannya ^^

FOTD - Midnight Blue Makeup

Hello beauties! It's been a long time since my last FOTD here. Today I will share you my FOTD that kinda bold. Honestly, it is my first time doing a bold makeup like this. I created this look for fun and at the same time gaining my creativity in makeup. I give a title "Midnight Blue Makeup" for this look. I use purple and blue color a lot like a night sky. So yeah, let's jump into the FOTD and the list of products I used.

I applied blue liner, gold eyeshadow stick and purple eyeshadow to get the Midnight Blue feeling. I used 2 type of eyeliner in pencil type for the tight line and liquid to create the sharper line. For this look, I create many wing liners on the eyelid. It almost looks like an Arabian or middle east makeup. I used upper and lower fake lashes from Silver Swan Lash (Review) to boost the feeling of this makeup look. For the final step, I added a highlighter and soft red lip matte lipstick to make this look more BAM! See how stunning this FOTD is! I love it so much!

Halloween Makeup Collaboration 2016

Hello, gorgeous! It's the end of October now! Say hello to Halloween! Actually, I don't celebrate Halloween. But I was invited to join into a Halloween Makeup Collaboration with many bloggers of Indonesia Beauty Bloggers. This is my first one and I was so excited!

In this last minute of Halloween, I think what I should create with easy and simple makeup. I decided to create "Noh" Japanese Doll Mask as my Halloween makeup. For your information, "Noh" mask is a mask that is worn in Japanese peculiar drama.

Noh Mask

There are many different types of Noh Mask. But one of the famous ones is the protagonist mask. I don't know what the mask named exactly is, but it has less expression. For more detail information about Noh Mask. Although it's not a "ghost" mask, but it looks a bit creepy with white face and high elevation brows. In my opinion.

This makeup is a bit tricky and needs more effort to create. I don't have the Japanese facial feature, particularly the eyes. I have round eyes so I have to take pictures with this angle to make it works. The bald eyebrow effect is the most struggling to create. Luckily, I made the bald eyebrows nicely although they a bit messy. What do you think? Is it creepy? Or funny?

IBB MUC February 2015 Flowery Garden with The Saem Indonesia

Haloo haloo.. Masih dalam suasana Valentine, saya mengucapkan Selamat Hari Valentine bagi yang merayakan. Telat sih ngucapinnya, tapi daripada tidak ngucapin sama sekali. Hehe. Bulan ini Indonesian Beauty Blogger bekerja sama dengan The Saem mengadakan Make Up Challenge bertemakan Flowery Garden. Ini MUC pertama saya, jadi excitednya bukan main. 

Saya penasaran dengan produk The Saem. Setelah browsing sana sini saya membaca kalau produk The Saem bagus. Saya juga pernah mereview color lipbalmnya disini. Saya paling penasaran untuk mencoba concealernya.

Concealer ini teksturnya liquid tapi punya daya cover yang hebat. Beauty Youtuber sunnydahye mentioned concealer ini di " The 3 Fave Korean Concealer for Blemishes ". Saya cukup direpotkan dengan dark spots dan dark circles jadi saya sangat tertarik untuk mencoba concealer ini. Make this product as my wish list? Absolutely YES!!

Ngomong-ngomong soal makeup waktu hangout bareng teman atau pacar, saya pernah dikomentarin berlebihan karena pakai makeup yang vivid. Jadi saya buat look yang natural dan sweet seperti bunga bermekaran sesuai dengan tema MUC bulan ini. Fresh, glowy dan pipi bersemu - semu seperti peri bunga. Saya jadi merasa mempunyai baby face. LOL

Makeup ala Korea biasanya straight, nah untuk look ini saya buat mengikuti alis natural saya dan mengisinya dengan eyeshadow cokelat. Not exactly straight karena alis asli saya agak arch. Saya menggunakan 2 warna eyeshadow saja yaitu pink di eyelid dan beige di outer V. Untuk lower lashline ujungnya saya menggunakan pink dan eyeshadow sparkle beige untuk aegyo sal. Blusher yang biasanya saya pakai di tulang pipi, kali ini saya aplikasikan di apple cheek tipis - tipis. Saya menggunakan liptint peach dan ditindih dengan lipstick warna soft pink yang sesuai dengan warna alami bibir saya.

Untuk mendukung temanya, saya menggunakan flower headband yang saya buat sendiri. DIY itu sungguh menyenangkan ^^
