Silkygirl Big Eye Smokey Eyeliner + Smudger - 02 Dark Brown Review

Now I want to review is Silkygirl Big Eye Smokey Eyeliner Smudger. I bought it for my birthday last month. If you haven't read my Birthday Haul post yet, you can check (here). I've heard a lot about this eyeliner, but I haven't tried myself. I ever tried it on my hand when I was in Silkygirl counter and the result made me fall in love! But I still need time to finish off my Essence Automatic Eyeliner before I decided to buy it. Now my Essence eyeliner is already empty. Finally, I can try this product after waiting on the list for months.

The packaging is very long. It has the same height as Etude House Play 101 Pencil. The cap on each side gives more length. It comes with a seal which is great! It has a smudger on one side. It is not an automatic type and does not come with the sharpener. So, I have to buy the individual eyeliner sharpener. Actually, the re-sharpen type eyeliner like this has pro and cons. It should have more product inside but does not handy like the automatic eyeliner does.

The color payoff is awesome! You can see in my pictures above that this eyeliner is very intense. It reminds me with gel liner type. I hate the eyeliner which has a hard texture so it hurts my eyes. But this eyeliner does not! It glides smoothly. Perfect! And this eyeliner is very long lasting. It stays there, although I rubbed and rinse it with water. The only way to remove this eyeliner is with cleansing oil or makeup remover.

Maybe you wonder about how the smudger works, how to create the smokey effect with this eyeliner, and the long lasting power after smudged. Well, I tell you. It has to blend with the smudger before it sets to create the smokey look. Once after it dried, it will be set and it will longlasting. The smudger will not work to the eyeliner which already set because it will function like an eraser.

Silkygirl Big Eye Smokey Eyeliner Smudger is a hidden gem for me. I never find a pencil eyeliner which is any better than this. Although it has to re-sharpen, I don't have any problem about it. I always do simple eyeliner which doesn't have to be precise, so I do not sharpen it until pointed. I think it will not work to create wings eyeliner, except you are an eyeliner expert :D

I'm very satisfied with this product. The result is great as it claimed. I recommend you to try this product. It's perfect to you who are searching for long lasting, smudge-proof, and waterproof eyeliner. It worth every penny!

SILKYGIRL Eye Opener Waterproof Mascara 01 Black Review

Hi, my readers. Still talking about my Haul February 2015 post, I got a request to make a review of SILKYGIRL Eye Opener Mascara 01 Black. I put this product on my wish list since a long time ago. My lashes are thick and short. I was curious about the lengthening mascara and searching for an inexpensive one. Fortunately, I found this. It claims that can lengthen and thicken lashes.

It has sleek packaging, lightweight, has black and fuchsia color. I love black and fuchsia! The applicator is long, flexible and has a kind of brush that can lengthen and thicken lashes. Different brush types have different effects as well. 

Oops!! I accidentally broke the lid when I tried to open it!! Luckily, the lid can be repaired. But now the lid always be dislodged when I tried to open the mascara. I wonder, why did I often damage many things? Are my hands too strong or am I too careless? LOL

This product has 1 color in black. The texture and scent are as same as the other mascaras.

- Has a lengthening and thickening effect

- Travel-friendly

- Easy to remove

- Smudge proof

- Needs a long time to dry

- Not waterproof

- Tricky to wear

This product has lengthened and thickened effects, but does not waterproof as it claimed. I think it is tricky to wear too. It makes your lashes clump if you coat them too much. 2 coats are enough for me. It needs a long time to dry, so I always do my eye makeup first. Although it is not waterproof, the good thing is it quite smudge proof. I do not recommend this mascara to wear on lower lashes because it will ruin your makeup. 

Considering the price, I think this product is not bad. Although I can not say it is a perfect mascara for me. If you can bear to wait until it dries, go for it. But personally, I prefer the quick-drying and waterproof mascaras.

Aku penasaran sama mascara ini, katanya sih punya efek memanjangkan. Bulu mataku tebal tapi pendek. Aku pengen tahu gimana efeknya untuk bulu mataku.
