Hello, my readers. I'm excited to write here now. Why? Because this month is my 1st year of blogging. Yay! Gadzotica Beauty Blog turns 1! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GADZOTICA BEAUTY BLOG! :D

You know, it's not easy to maintain a blog. Really. Especially for the busy blogger like me. But I'm glad I can reach this far because of you all, my lovely readers. Without you, maybe I'm quit since long ago. I'm very thankful for every supports, spirits and suggestions to make my blog better and better.

At my 1st year blogging, I wish I can be a cleverer blogger because I'm so lazy to write, do blog more routine and give you more inspirational and informative posts.

Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

The first thing to tell, I never heard about this award. I have no idea with it. Then I found that "Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award" is an achievement for women bloggers around the world who have the unique voices in their blog. Really, I feel that I don't deserve to this award, but I'm honored to have been nominated by Diana from Cheonsadiana's Review. Her blog is very informative and of course I love her unique voice on what she has posted. Again, I'm so thankful to her. This achievement will make me do blog better.

   Questions that I have to answer   

 1.  What is/are your struggle(s) in blogging?
I'm lazy to write and struggle to maintain my blog during my busy time. As an architect, I dont have a lot of time to do blog.

 2.  What is/are your plan(s) for your blog?
Actually I have plans to buy a domain and change my blog's name into a simpler one. But it accomplished now :P
New plans? Maybe trying to maintain my blog better and buying properties for blogging photos.

 3.  Your favorite skincare brand and why
I keep changed my skincare products. But I will say K-Beauty brands are the best. And the most favorite brand is Laneige! I've tried Waterbank Essence and Water Sleeping pack. I haven't found the products which are better than those until now.

 4.  What do you usually do when you’re having your “me time”?
I prioritized my "me time" for blogging. I don't really have much time to blog because I'm busy with my job. That's why I use my free time to make drafts and take some blog pictures. I love watching movies or hang out with family/friends too.

 5.  If you were given a chance to hang out with one celebrity for a day, who would it be?
I'm desperately want to hang out with BIGBANG members! Especially T.O.P oppa. I often have dreams about hang out with him (or them) and I would be happy if my dreams become a reality!

 6.  Your favorite cuisine and restaurant
Honestly, I prefer my mom's cuisine than the restaurant has. I love Nasi Goreng, Lontong Kupang, Bebek Goreng (Fried Duck), Kare Ayam (Chicken Kari), and many traditional foods. But I would answer my favorite restaurant is Hoka-Hoka Bento. They serve the Japanese cuisine with Indonesian taste in my opinion.

 7.  If you could have any pet in this world, what would it be?
I would love to have a cat. A big and fat one. My parents don't allow me to have a pet since I took a homeless cat and she dropped her feces under the dining table. 

 8.  Favorite lipstick shade
A peachy shade with a slight orange tint.

 9.  Where would you go for a vacation?
Japan, Korea, Bali, anywhere as long as I can go shopping there :D

 10.  What/who can easily brighten up your day?
My mom and dad. They brighten my day when I have a chat with them, although I'm in the worst mood ever.

Gadzotica *Beauty Blog* New Domain - www.gadzotica.com

Hello, my readers. Do you recognize something different from my blog? Yes! I changed my domain! I had comments that my old blog's URL is kinda hard to catch, almost impossible to spell nor remember. My mistake, I didn't think about a nice URL at first. After read many articles about how to make a nice blog name, finally I got a nice one.

This month, I want to announce my blog's URL name from 

I change it just like my header name. See? The old one is really horrible right? LOL. 

Why did I choose that name? Okay, I ever think about to choose a name with something related with beauty. It's like "beauty", "peach", "pink", etc. But they are commonly used by many bloggers. I want something different. I tried to choose "www.gadzotica.com". It's very unique and I guess none will use that name.

I hope my new domain will be easier for you to reach my blog. What do you think about my new domain? Please feel free to comments ^^

So they can grow their blog better. Honestly, I don't try to get popularity at all, I just want to share my thoughts with my readers. And Thevya is one who recognizing my blog and nominated me. 1. If you had one wish, what would it be?

I want to go to Mecca with my parents. Doing haj together. What a wonderful wish.

2. Cats or dogs?

The cats, absolutely! They don't drop the saliva everywhere and don't lick my face like a food.

3. What's your favourite thing about blogging?

I love when my readers attracted to my posts. I love doing blog's photography and customizing my own HTML design template too.

4. Who is your role model?

The only one model who got my attention is Cara Delevigne. She has the edgy style which is I love. She shows her beauty in her own style

5. Favourite makeup product?

I love lip products. Especially lipsticks and lip tints. They give me a different look in seconds like a magic. I can't leave home with pale lips.

6.Most embarrassing moment?

It is so embarrassing to tell, but I will share it. The most embarrassing moment that I can't forget is when I was in Elementary School. I joined my school tour on the beach in another town. The teachers told us to take a bath. So I went to the bus, took my clothes, hug them in my chest, and went to the rental bathroom. When I was walking, a man called me over and over. I turned my head and he said that my underwear was fallen on the ground. I took it and ran to the bathroom without saying anything. Now I always pack my clothes and bath stuffs in a bag to prevent the same tragedy.

7. Do you have any hobbies?

I have so many hobbies, they are drawing, playing games, watching movies, travelling, and blogging of course.

8. What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a blog?

Honestly, I am not an expert in blogging. But I give you two important advice to those who want to start a blog.

1. Do not be afraid to start a blog. At first, you might be confused what should you post. Do not worry, there are many articles about on the blog post ideas. So there is no reason to hold you to start blogging.

2. Do not aim to get followers. If you did, you may give up. Continue blogging with love and sharing your honest thoughts. Just enjoy and do it as your hobby. If you have good posts, the followers will come to you. Although they do not follow, at least they read and it makes your own satisfaction.

9. If you had to live anywhere, where would it be and why?

I love other countries, but I just want to stay in my home country. I love its cultures, traditional fashions, dances, foods, beautiful tourism destinations, people, and more.

10. What is your favourite dessert?

Iced fruit cocktail with topping of condensed milk. I love it more than ice cream. It's so yummy!!

11. Summer or winter and why?

I never felt winter so I will say summer.

Announcing New Blog Theme!

Hi, readers! Today I'm announcing my new blog theme! Oh, I'm super excited! You know why? Because I made it myself.

Customizing your own theme in HTML is not easy, really. Only one wrong character can damage all of your design. When you create your own blog theme, I suggest to backup your current HTML code first. If you get the error codes, you will be easy to return to your previous blog theme. With trial and error finally I can make a new one. Thank for people who uploaded the tutorials at google and youtube.

Now I'll show you my old and new blog themes.

     OLD BLOG THEME     

It's a vintage theme that has flower everywhere. I personally don't like flowers that much actually, but I love the colors.I thought the flower represents girly feel the most, so I decided to use flowers for my blog design. My background and header were full of flowers. Actually this pattern sometimes seems boring

     NEW BLOG THEME     

It's a watercolor theme with some handwriting fonts. Now I add navigation bar too. It is very useful to make my readers reach what they want from my blog. This theme is very simple, clean, and artistic at the same time. To give a girly feel, I add daisy flower in watercolor effect. I downloaded the daisy here. Now you can see only one flower in my new design theme LOL

I still used peach color, but this time i made it a little bit orange. And the special thing is, I made the watercolor effects and navigation bar (except the daisy and the social media icons) myself at Photoshop CS3 with my limited skills. No plugins required. That's why i love this design very much. You are always proud with your own creations, right?

Happy New Year 2015!!

Happy New Year 2015!!

I have very precious moments in 2014. I've been graduated from college, my uncle has been recovered from his illness and got a new niece (I'm very thankful for that). And I'm so sorry for the passenger of AirAsia QZ8501's that got airplane crash at the end of 2014. I pray for them to get a better place and will be found as soon as possible.

This 2015, I have some resolutions. Maybe that's not special but very important to me. They are:

1. Get a job and start my journey as a young Architect. I know it's not easy, but i will try hard to reach my dream. 
2. Be a better person. Everyone wants to be a better person including me. I wish i could be. 
3. Be a better blogger. I'll try to make posts routine. I love to share anything to everyone. 
4. Saving for money. I have many wishlists this year, but I have to save some money. We never know about the future. 
5. Get a boyfriend! LOL. 4 years being single is not easy ^^
